Removal and installation



  1. Remove GTTs from the car.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hoses from the block of the vacuum amplifier.
  3. Remove a fixing clip, unbend uvulas of the plastic limiter, remove a fixing finger and disconnect a pusher from a brake pedal.
  4. Give nuts of fastening of the vacuum amplifier and, having taken aside a basic arm of the control valve, remove the amplifier from the car.


Installation is made upside-down.


  1. Check correctness of adjustment of a pusher of the vacuum amplifier, in case of need make adjustment. Check installation of height of situation and size of a free wheeling of a pedal of a brake, in case of need adjust the listed parameters.
  2. Tighten fixing nuts with the required effort.

Functioning check


  1. At the killed engine squeeze out several times a brake pedal for dumping of depression of the vacuum amplifier.
  2. Slightly squeeze out a pedal and hold it in this situation.
  1. Start the engine. The pedal has to fail considerably down. Otherwise it is necessary to check serviceability of giving of depression to the block (see an accompanying illustration):
    1. Check vacuum hoses for existence of signs of aging of material and other damages. Replace defective.
    2. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the block of the vacuum amplifier and at the engine working at single turns check existence in it of depression, having stopped up the end of a hose with a thumb.
    3. Disconnect vacuum hoses, release a fixing collar and remove the control valve from the block of the vacuum amplifier.
    4. Blow in the valve from the vacuum amplifier. Air has to pass freely.
    5. Try to prososat air through the same opening of the valve. This time the valve has to be closed. At identification of deviations replace the control valve.

Adjustment of a pusher


  1. Remove the block of the vacuum amplifier from the car.
  2. Connect to the hose union on the block the manual vacuum pump equipped with the vacuum gage.
  3. Create depression of 500 mm of mercury in depth in a vacuum tube of the amplifier. also measure the size of a vystupaniye of a pusher And over landing GTTs surface (see an accompanying illustration). Nominal size makes And = 10.275 ÷ 10.525 mm.
